
Earth-friendly Essay and Activity Report Contest
From the desire to give children the opportunity to consider the future of Earth's environment, the "Earth-friendly Essay/Activity Report Contest" was implemented.
Around the theme of "What each one of us can do for the environment," works such as essays, activity reports, and posters on environmental conservation were encouraged, with the most excellent works receiving awards.
2014 Awards
In the awards for 2014, submissions were accepted from May 30th to September 30th, receiving 21,470 works in Japan. After reviewing by the selection committee made up mainly of experts, 139 works received prizes. AEON Environmental Foundation Award (School Award) was awarded to a particularly outstanding school that had made ten or more submissions.
