AEON SATOYAMA Forum
Since 2020, we have been collaborating with universities to regenerate, conserve, and utilize satoyama landscapes. In 2025, we hosted the 2nd AEON SATOYAMA Forum under the theme “Thinking Together to Create a New Satoyama”. Aya Town in Miyazaki Prefecture, known for its forest initiatives in harmony with nature, universities and other stakeholders shared perspectives and exchanged ideas on the challenges facing satoyama.
